Terms of Service

Last updated: May 13, 2026

These terms govern your use of the AudiophileRadio.com website and the AudiophileRadio mobile & TV app (Android & iOS). By using the service you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

1. What the service is

AudiophileRadio is a curated directory and player for third-party internet radio stations. We maintain a list of stations and provide a player that connects your device directly to each station's streaming server. We do not host, encode, store, transcode, proxy, or rebroadcast any audio. Every stream is delivered to your device by the station operator's own infrastructure.

2. No account, no fee, no warranty

The service is provided free of charge and without an account. It is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee uninterrupted access — radio stations go offline, change their URLs, or change their licensing terms outside of our control. We do not guarantee specific audio quality; what reaches your device depends on the station's encoder, its bandwidth, and the network path between your device and the station.

3. Copyright and content

All audio, station names, logos, and other materials transmitted through the radio streams are the property of the respective station operators and their licensors. AudiophileRadio claims no ownership of, and provides no license to, this content. We are an aggregator and player — not a content host, publisher, or broadcaster.

Station operators are solely responsible for ensuring that the audio they broadcast is properly licensed under the laws of their own jurisdictions (collecting societies, mechanical/performance rights, etc.). Inclusion of a station in our directory does not imply any endorsement of, or responsibility for, the licensing status of its broadcast.

Cover art, artist portraits, track titles, and other metadata displayed in the app are retrieved via public APIs from third parties (iTunes Search API, MusicBrainz, the Cover Art Archive, Last.fm, and Wikipedia), and are subject to those services' own terms and licenses. We do not claim ownership of this material.

4. Takedown requests

If you are a rights-holder (or an authorized agent of one) and believe that a station listed in our directory is broadcasting your work without proper licensing, please contact us at hello@audiophileradio.com with:

  • Identification of the copyrighted work you believe is being infringed.
  • The name and URL of the station in our directory.
  • Your contact information and, if applicable, the rights-holder you represent.
  • A good-faith statement that the use is not authorized.

On receipt of a complete notice we will, at our discretion, (a) remove or hide the station from our directory pending resolution, and/or (b) forward the notice to the station operator so they can respond on their own behalf. Note that AudiophileRadio is a directory, not a hosting provider — we have no technical means of removing audio from a station's own server, only of removing the station from our list.

5. Your use of the service

When using the website or app, you agree:

  • To use the service for lawful, personal, non-commercial purposes only.
  • Not to attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, harvest, or otherwise abuse our servers or APIs, or to circumvent any rate-limiting or other protections.
  • Not to redistribute the app's installation files (.apk / .ipa) or our station catalogue (in whole or in part) without prior written permission.
  • Not to use the service to download, capture, or rebroadcast the audio streams (whether for personal archival or otherwise) — your country's recording laws may apply, and the stations' own licensing terms certainly do.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AudiophileRadio and its operator(s) shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with the use of the service, including but not limited to: data charges incurred while streaming, content broadcast by third-party stations, station downtime, or perceived audio-quality issues outside our control. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law (including, for EU residents, statutory consumer rights).

7. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the date of the most recent change. Continued use of the service after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Greece, without regard to its conflict-of-laws provisions. EU consumer-protection rights that apply in your country of residence are not affected.
